Job Description:
Job Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration of all system-related tasks at our New Hope site. As the primary IT contact in New Hope, you will manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensure smooth operations, and support our users in collaboration with your European colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
  • System Maintenance and Support: Focus on managing our systems' day-to-day operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our internal IT infrastructure.
  • IT Projects: Plan and execute IT projects and specific applications.
  • Infrastructure Development: Design, maintain, and continuously develop the infrastructure in areas such as network, firewall, storage, and backup.
  • Azure AD / Microsoft 365 Administration: Maintain and administer our Azure AD and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • User Support: Provide user support for our standard software and custom-developed applications.
  • Agile Team Collaboration: Collaborate with European team members to support departments with IT processes and applications.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Responsible for the procurement, installation, setup, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Professional experience in the installation and operation of partially virtual server infrastructures, operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), hardware, and software.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Expertise in network, firewall, storage, and backup infrastructure.
  • Service Administration: Experience in administering services like Azure/Microsoft 365, MS Dynamics NAV, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, VMWare, Jira, Confluence, and IT security.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, structured, and results-oriented working style.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality complete your profile.
