Tygart is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) component. This is a remote position with some travel to WV. This position requires a current Secret Security clearance.Responsibilities
- Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
- System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
- Primary responsibility is the operations and maintenance of the legacy NCIC mainframe (IBM z14) infrastructure, compute, and storage platform.
- Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of zOS operating system, CICS, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite.
- System monitoring and reporting.
- Performance monitoring, analysis and tuning.
- Pervasive Encryption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related work experience.
- Active Secret Security clearance.
- Experience with IBM z 14
- Experience with CICS required
- Experience with zOS operating system, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM
