Job Type Full-time Description JOB SUMMARY: The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and administering New World Medical's networked system of computers. This role will include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security. Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
  • Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
  • Assist with desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Providing technical support when requested.
  • Documenting any processes which employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system.
  • Liaison to third party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Single Sign On (SSO)
  • SharePoint
  • Cloud computing
  • Virtualization
  • Office 365
  • Windows 2016/2019
  • Active Directory/ Entra
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving using in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to handle all support requests.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information systems or information technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
  • Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
  • Ability to listen and speak with employees and distributors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • View and type on computer screens for long periods of time
