Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and monitor software and hardware
- Maintain networks and servers
- Manage system patches and updates
- Resolve user issues and provide technical support in a timely manner
- Maintain the company's authentication protocols including Active Directory
- Oversee the production and maintenance of systems Documentation and logs
- Ensure data is backed up and system security measures are effective
- Test and coordinate the implementation of new applications and systems
- Employ strict cybersecurity practices to keep company systems secure
- Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a System Administration role
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory (EntraID experience is a plus) and Vmware
- Knowledge of and experience with cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Profound knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or VCP would be advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
