Responsibilities & Expectations: We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on system performance, security, and data integrity. This role will involve server maintenance, network monitoring, and leveraging SQL expertise to support business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with systems architecture, database management, and implementing IT controls.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee system and website updates, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize system downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Assist in maintaining the company website, ensuring all platforms are updated successfully.
  • Support and maintain SQL databases for business applications.
  • Write SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and troubleshooting.
  • Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Ensure database security and data integrity across systems.
  • Implement and enforce IT controls to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular system audits and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and improve security.
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies for critical data and systems.
  • Provide technical support to staff for system-related issues.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and system operations as needed.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in ERP administration and SQL database management.
  • Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
