System Administrator

ALTEA Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator & Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Microsoft 365 environment, overseeing the online Exchange server, provisioning laptops, and providing top-notch desktop support for our remote employees. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including user administration, licensing, and security.
  • Manage our Exchange Online environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provision, configure, and deploy laptops for remote employees, ensuring proper setup and alignment with company security policies.
  • Ensuring all laptops are accounted for, properly enrolled in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and are kept up to date with the latest operating system and security updates.
  • Provide high-quality desktop support for remote employees, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the IT infrastructure, performing regular updates, patches, and system maintenance as required.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Continuously research and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improving our IT environment.
  • Assist with additional IT projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and Windows desktop support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including user administration, licensing, and security best practices.
  • Experience with online Exchange server management and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, laptop provisioning, and remote desktop support.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and remote connectivity solutions (VPN, RDP, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
