Role Overview: As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining our internal systems and virtual servers, ensuring the security and integrity of client data. You will also provide support for a range of access control and security camera products, as well as voice and phone systems. This is a dynamic role that requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain internal systems and virtual servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support for access control and security camera products, including troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Support clients with IT-related queries, including assistance with access control systems, security cameras, and voice solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors such as Salto, Panasonic/iPro, Rhombus, Axis, Video Insight, Milestone, and Ecobee to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of voice and phone systems, including Allworx and VoIP services.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certified with at least CompTIA A+, Network+ or other equivalent technology certifications
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and client support.
- Proficiency in managing virtual servers, access control systems, security cameras, and voice solutions.
- Experience working with vendors such as Salto, Panasonic/iPro, Rhombus, Axis, Video Insight, Milestone, and ecobee is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
