Job Title - System AnalystLocation: Onsite 2 weeks per month in Durham, NC or Westlake, TX Must Have Skills: SQL Quieres | Data Model Design Changes | System Design Changes Domain Knowledge: Health Benefits Location: onsite 2 weeks per month in Durham, NC or Westlake, TX The Health Care Technology Group (HCG) Team is looking to fill an interesting and challenging position on its development team. As a Principle Software Engineer, you will be a senior member, encouraged to supply to the technical leadership and center of competence within the HCG team. This includes: ? Providing mentoring to the HCG team of developers and tech leads with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology. ? Providing leadership on project development policies, procedures, standards and strategies. ? Participating in the HCG team's effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process. The Expertise You Have ? 8-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years managing IT projects/initiatives as a Systems Analyst. ? Bachelors Degree (Computer Science or related fields) ? Hands-on experience handling Systems Analysis for large complex applications, proposing Data Model design changes and enable System Design changes working with Technical Leaders ? Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups. ? Good interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills The Skills You Bring ? Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and to engage with peers in technical and design discussions ? Ability to analyze business problems and come up with solutions ? Strong analytical skills and ability to solve issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment ? Have a collaborative approach to problem solving and your ability to adapt plans based on organizational dynamics and constraints. ? Triage technical issues - write SQL queries, look at test results, analyze and validate design etc. ? Ability to successfully deliver large-scale product initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments. ? Ability to operate and influence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. ? Strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills. ?
