We are proudly supporting one of Wisconsin's leading food production companies as they seek to strengthen their in-house IT Systems!
We're looking to recruit an experienced Systems Analyst to continue the digital capabilities of the business from their HQ in Kenosha County. This family business has been successfully trading for almost 90 years and now operates out of 3 US sites, developing their own brand of cooked meat products whilst also partnering with a range of US food retailers.
You will act as the “right-hand person” to the Director of IT. You will support (and, at times, lead) a growing IT department, providing tech expertise and leadership to project teams across the business, consisting of management, users, information technology staff and vendors.
This is an in-office position with a rotational on-call schedule.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the virtual environment.
- Manage core routers.
- Manage data Backup and Recovery along with Disaster Recovery.
- Manage our Cyber Security initiative
- Manage IT projects including software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency
- Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for end users and Departmental staff.
- Help manage the IT budget.
- Assist with the management of the core ERP system.
- Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the Information Technology Department
- Travel to remote locations to provide support as needed and manage projects
Your Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
- 7 or more years of related experience.
- Functional knowledge of network topologies, network security, telephony, and VPNs.
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Server, VMWare, and Microsoft SQL.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- VMWare, Fortigate, Microsoft, and Veeam certifications are beneficial.
- Microsoft 365 administration experience is required.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
