We are looking for a Systems Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas. The position is remote; however, we can only accept candidates who are located locally for this role.
Responsibility:
- Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
- Collaborate with personnel from various organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and gather specific input/output requirements.
- Gather details on forms of data input, how data should be summarized, and the required formats for reports.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if the requested program or program changes are feasible within the existing system.
- Recommend improvements and modifications based on system limitations and user requirements.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and end users to ensure the developed systems meet business needs.
- Support the implementation and testing of new systems or modifications to ensure alignment with user requirements.
You:
- 8 + years of overseeing Data Center services providers for compute and storage supporting 24/7 environments. Oversee infrastructure and operations resources required.
- 8 + years of involvement in establishing goals and objectives for maintaining the infrastructure, security, and operation required.
- 8 + years of engagement in technical implementation, scheduling, assessing problems, and communicating up to management. Oversee infrastructure changes required.
- 8 + years of expertise in high-level technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of data center operations to support critical functions required.
- 8 + years of leadership in planning, and assigning work for Server Support, Physical Database, and application teams that support Operation systems and databases required.
- 8 + years of assisting the IT manager with oversight of two Data Center Services providers responsible for supporting computing, security, and storage components required.
- 8 + years of collaboration with the Data Center Services providers and Systems Architects to develop the Technology Roadmap Plan and set a strategic path for infrastructure and operations required.
- 8 + years of overseeing environment expansion, migrations, and modernizations for Storage/Compute/Network/Application systems. Maintain detailed industry knowledge, especially around Cloud, and integrate those with internal technical domain knowledge required.
- 8 + years of managing multiple audits annually. Lead major projects for Operations, including migrations of Data Center hardware and software upgrades.
- 8 + years of reviewing and approving Operations documentation, including the Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Operational Procedures, and Monthly Maintenance plan required.
- 8 + years of providing technical expertise as a member of the Operations management team on changes with the ecosystem, including the design and development of new technology, security events, and root cause analysis of all severity events required.
- 8 + years of handling 24/7 on-call support required.
- 5 + years of working with DevOps and DevOp tools preferred.
- 4 + years of delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is a plus preferred.
- 4 + years of utilizing ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow preferred.
- 3 + years of managing Archer GRC preferred.
