What You Will Do :

  • The Systems Architect - Oracle is responsible for supporting the adoption of cloud computing and automation initiatives, with a focus on migrating the Oracle products like OBIEE and Datawarehouse components from an OnPrem environment to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

  • The roles require experience in application maintenance of systems and services on-prem and in the future in OCI cloud.

  • The person will configure and maintain Oracle Exadata and Exa logic servers on-prem.

  • Ability to install and configure environments and spin-off multiple environments by establishing Copies of the servers across all environments.

  • The Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.

  • This position requires extensive knowledge of Oracle database servers and Middleware infrastructure component maintenance as well as the ability to design solutions for Oracle applications that use SSO using OAM/OID.

  • Coordinate technical activities related to system development with multiple stakeholders in planning, estimation, scheduling, and prioritization.

  • Ensure system alignment to Enterprise Architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system development.

  • Accountable to business and technology management for end-to-end application scoping, planning, development and delivery that meets and exceeds quality standards.

  • The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals.

  • Our professionals need to integrate IT solution systems for the business with existing client systems.

  • Oversee creation and approval of technical documentation including the Solution Definition document and Technical Design document; ensure documentation is aligned to the Functional Requirements and uses document templates that meet SDLC standards.

What You Will Need :

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance

  • Bachelor Degree is required

  • Minimum FIVE (5) years of hands on experience maintaining MS-Windows, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) Ver 7.0 and above, RHEL

  • Maintains Oracle EPM, OBIEE and Oracle Middleware technology solutions in production and lower environments

  • Proven experience in installing, configuring and supporting Oracle Databases, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle HTTP Server, WebLogic, and OAM/OID, for Enterprise scale application implementation.

  • Experience performing O&M tasks for these Oracle technology solutions on site and on OCI.

  • Experience maintaining application and infrastructure security including vulnerability patching for Oracle Middleware products in federal agencies.

  • The candidate will maintain the infrastructure of the Enterprise Platform of applications and be accountable for the quality of services and deliverables. Experience supporting On Site to OCI migration of Oracle technology solutions.

  • Ability to work with the Agency's Information and Technology and Security teams to establish Firewall (FW) Rules, Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) offloading, and Certifications

  • Maintains infrastructure and application security by analyzing security scan reports, and applying vulnerability patches for Oracle technology solutions.

  • Provides technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation to owners.

  • Infrastructure and Application performance tuning.

  • Implementation of architecture best practices for enterprise-scale highly available solutions

  • Ensures delivered solutions are realized in the time frame committed; works in conjunction with project owners to size, scope, and identify risk.

  • Ensures delivered solutions meet technical and functional/non-functional performance requirements within.

  • Manage day-to-day technical challenges and communicate to the project manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities.

  • Clearly communicate Expectations, Roles, and Responsibilities to team members and hold them accountable to meet the expectations.

  • Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among mid-level to senior leadership

  • Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA implementations.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Associate and or Professional certification

The annual salary range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
