Title: (System/Business Analyst- U.S. Air Force Logisticsand Installations):Start date: ASAPClearance: At least Interim DoD SECRET clearance requiredDesired Education Level: BS / BA in IT Management, Computer Science or related technical fieldDesired Certification(s): PMP and/or Six Sigma Green/Black BeltDescription:We are currently seeking a highly qualified professionalto lead/manage/coordinate portfolio management and system integration effortsfor the Air Force's largest Information Technology (IT) Portfolio. Thisposition will directly support the Headquarters AF/A4PA (Portfolio AdvocacyManagement Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering, &Force Protection) at Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), MD and National CapitalRegion (NCR). This is a hybrid work arrangement, with an average of 5% annualtravel.This position requires that the candidates canrapidly adjust to dynamic customer priorities, respond to short-turn requests,and maintain focus on assigned tasks through completion. Preferred individual is a fast learner, hasexcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, is an articulatewritten/oral communicator, has strong organizational skills, and requiresminimal supervision. Candidate must be able to:•Advise and assist inthe development and oversight of portfolio IT transformation priorities•Support portfolio studies,identify and develop initiative business cases, advocate for IT infrastructure improvements,and recommend innovative solutions to meet mission requirements•Collaborate with stakeholders (leaders, colleagues)across the Air Staff, with AF/Joint services and third parties (e.g. vendors,service providers) as needed to plan and oversee execution of portfolioinitiatives•Build information and/or decision briefings forsenior leaders up to 3-star level•Analyze ITinvestment plans and priorities; recommend roadmap efforts to reduce IT costs,reduce organizational risk, comply with DoD mandates, and to meet strategicobjectives •Lead/support portfoliosummits, Rapid Improvement Events, Integrated Product Team efforts, and othermeetings with key stakeholders (e.g., functional champions and subject matterexperts)•Author strategies, plans and procedures;periodically update to keep pace with emerging IT policy•Capture and document requirements, produce projectplans, key milestones, deliverables and schedule as well as successfully trackproject through completion as needed•Simultaneouslymanage multiple work streams, tracking activities across multiple organizationsthrough completion on schedule and budget•Plan and schedulemeetings, facilitate technical discussions, capture action items and meetingminutes•Develophigh-quality work products using MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project, Visio) •Draft email correspondence for senior leader strategiccommunications DesiredKnowledge and Experience:•2+years' as a Staff Action officer, particularly on a Major Command (MAJCOM) /Combatant Command (COCOM) or higher-level Air Force / Joint staff a considerableplus•2+ years in Project Management or Lean Six SigmaProcess Improvement is highly desired •7+ years Air Force Civil Service / US militaryexperience in Information Technology a plus •Requiresfamiliarity with IT fundamentals, e.g., software lifecycle management,system/network/cloud architectures; prior experience in system or technologyanalysis (e.g., cloud, application rationalization), compliance, or portfoliomanagement a considerable plusDSD Laboratories Inc. is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
