A health system in New York City is looking for a System Director for Movement Disorders Program for their program. About the Opportunity:
- Location: Primary site in Manhattan, with occasional travel to Staten Island and Westchester.
- Specialty: Movement Disorders/Parkinson's Disease
- Patient Volume: Managing an active panel of 25-40 Neurology/Movement Disorder patients per week, with flexibility for the right candidate.
- Hours: M-F Business hours
Responsibilities:
- Leadership in the Development of appropriate clinical programs for Movement Disorders Program in the Western Region.
- Coordination of annual strategy planning for Movement Disorders Program in the Western Region.
- Oversight and review of budget review of performance metrics for the Movement Disorder Program within the Western Region.
- Assists the Neurology Chairperson and Senior Vice President in the Recruitment of Movement Disorders Faculty and Advanced Care Providers in the Western Region.
- Coordination of Community Outreach to Physicians, public, healthcare facilities for the Movement Disorders Program within the Western Region.
- Ensure oversight with compliance of legal, regulatory, and clinical policies and procedures for the Movement Disorders Program in the Western Region.
- Performs related duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- MD Degree, Board Certification or eligibility
- Movement Disorder Fellowship completion
- 10+ years of clinical and administrative experience in Neurology/Movement Disorder
- Current NYS license
- Strong administrative and academic skills
- Ability to build and lead a team
