This role offers remote work opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Implement and operate software in compliance with technical reference architectureEnsure implemented 3rd part software is updated are current across all systemsEnsure implemented 3rd party software is functional and stable through testingResponsible configuring identity access controls, managing access levels, and investigating access and permission issues.Leverage complementary departments and third-party related entities to support applicationsTroubleshoot and debug issues that ariseMaintain technical documentationEngage in internal issue reviews and client callsDeliver support during normal hours of operation and off-hour production emergenciesProvide level-of-effort estimates for assigned tasks and change ordersHelp stabilize new products from R&D into productionIdentify root causes of technical issues in production and other environmentsStudy and recommend corrective solutions for enhancing software efficiencyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analysis or other related field, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Information Technology field supporting Linux5 - 8 years of experience in a client-facing, technical support role5 - 8 years of experience with Linux- and UNIX-based systems especially RedHat5 - 8 years of experience with OpenSouce software products including Apache NiFi, Node.js, and HAProxyPublic Cloud experience with AWS.Experience in Secure DevOps and automation principles in deliveryTechnical knowledge of techniques, standards, authentication/authorization, and security administrationAdequate knowledge of software development, web-related technologies, databases, and data securityTeam player who can engage with other entities to deliver a better customer experience and drive collaborationAnalytical skills and problem-solving capabilities in high pressure environmentUnderstanding and hands-on experience with one of the programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java)Knowledge of RESTful APIs with the ability to understand and troubleshoot issuesProven track record of taking ownership of tasks and driving forward to resolutionsExcellent written and spoken communication skills, listening skills, and presentation skillsExperience with Windows-systems.The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
