Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CCNA MCSE System Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and system administration, ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can collaborate effectively with various teams to support our growing technical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and server systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and related Windows Server services.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure system security through regular updates, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on systems and network issues.
- Document network configurations, system changes, and support processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, network administration, or related field.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
