System Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a System Support Specialist to perform advanced system support duties in a dynamic support desk, applications, desktop, and field environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise systems, client/server setups, desktop computers, and network systems, with a focus on providing IT support for Department of Human Assistance-specific applications. Key Responsibilities: •Operate, maintain, and repair IT equipment and software. •Troubleshoot, configure, and diagnose complex desktop and network hardware/software issues. •Respond appropriately to customer service requests. •Operate, maintain, and repair personal computers and peripherals. •Assist with imaging, setup, and deployment of PCs/laptops for telework and monitor system upgrades. •Provide second-level help desk support. •Handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. •Possess and maintain a valid California Class C Driver's License. Required Qualifications: •Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 10 (Windows 11 is a plus). •Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products. •Experience with imaging software and automated imaging processes. •Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. •Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.Education: Bachelors Degree
