T-Rex is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our customer at Ft. Meade, MD. Performs research, design, prototyping, engineering, fabrication, software development, integration, testing, and deployment of secure cryptographic production systems, infrastructure, and capabilities that stabilize, modernize, and transform the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure supporting Information Assurance Capabilities (IAC) Cryptographic Assurance Operations (CAO) Keys and Codes missions. This role requires engineering and Information Technology (IT) experience to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure supporting Information Assurance Capabilities (IAC) Cryptographic Assurance Operations (CAO) Keys and Codes missions. This position is part of a team that provides engineering and Information Technology services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure. Responsibilities: Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to those systems Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices Provide problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Configure and manage Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software Administer and secure network switching and routing devices Manage and maintain network security through the use of access controls and path management Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 10 years of total experience with Security Certification. Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph Experience with: Implementing, troubleshooting IT systems. Performing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. Providing Tier 1 / Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning. Configuring and managing Windows operating systems and installing/loading operating system software. Implementing operating systems enhancements improving reliability and performance.
