This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.Job Description and Responsibilities: Administer and maintain the ACAS infrastructure, ensuring continuous vulnerability scanning and assessment across the organization's IT systems.Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to complete accreditation packets, contributing to the successful attainment of Authorization to Operate (ATO) for critical systems.Conduct regular system audits to enhance overall security posture, and provide SOPs on ACAS tools and troubleshooting steps.Collaborate with system owners to remediate vulnerabilities within established timelines, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.Address ACAS permissions and access ticket requests, ensuring timely provisioning and modification of user roles in alignment with security policies.Troubleshoot problematic scans and common plugin errors, ensuring the integrity of vulnerability assessments.Manage and update repositories as needed.Maintain on-premises asset lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness for comprehensive vulnerability assessments. Manage and update the plugin responsibility list, streamlining collaboration within the security team by assigning and documenting responsibilities.Maintain the infrastructure for NNM, SC, and Nessus scanners, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest versions to align with DoD baseline requirements.Lead efforts to remediate plugins on ACAS servers, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and enhancing the organization's security posture.Resolve certificate issues by collaborating with the CRMS team, ensuring seamless connectivity.Certification and Education Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of at least a Security+ and Operating System certifications are required, while higher level certifications are desired.
