We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance our existing technical team supporting the advancement of AI/ML/Data Science technologies, in Herndon, VA.TS/SCI with polygraph required Day 1The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative cloud engineer to join in and contribute to a team environment. The candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures, and the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure.Mandatory SkillsMust have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle.Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems.Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solutions, etc.Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience.Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.Experience using a scripting language.Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.About Cybersecurity, Intelligence and ServicesThe Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services (CIS) business provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challenges.
