Systems Administrator - Guilford, CT American Cruise Lines is a dynamic and innovative company seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining a Microsoft hybrid cloud environment, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, AWS, and Networking.
Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the Microsoft hybrid cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Administer and support Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain controllers.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune,
- Implement and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Administer VMware environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter.
- Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Support AWS services, including EC2, S3, and VPC.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the above technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Occasional user support and on-call rotation.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft hybrid cloud environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, AWS, and Networking.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Experience with the following a plus: Dell Servers, Dell Switching, Dell PC's, EqualLogic storage, Dell Compellent storage, CrowdStrike EDR and SIEM, Mimecast, Veeam, Unifi, SonicWALL, Ring Central,
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
