Title: Systems Administrator Location: Akron, OH Duration: 12 months This position will have responsibility to provide executive support to C-level executives and their support staff. The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of the executive staff in the Akron General Office and West Akron Campus. The successful candidate will display the following attributes: •Ownership •Promptness •Knowledge of corporate systems and applications •Sense of urgency on critical matters and situational awareness •Time management skills •Professional verbal and written communication skills •Proactive, extensive IT problem-solving skills •Ability to work with other IT areas to solve issues •Business casual attire •Ability to document processes and pass knowledge on to backup support •Ability to educate users to best practices and appropriate device usage Qualifications: •Bachelor or associate degree in IT related major or related field, or related work experience •Minimum of 2 years related-level experience, which includes but is not limited to: •Direct End User Support •Experience supporting an executive staff •Self-starter who is detail-oriented, motivated, focused, and hard-working •Good communication skills, collaborative •Customer-service focused Preferred Knowledge: •Strong foundational knowledge of enterprise PC support processes and conference room audio/visual equipment to effectively troubleshoot •Foundational knowledge and prior work experience with enterprise deployment systems such as Microsoft SCCM/Intune •Ability to learn new concepts in information technology, learn the characteristics of new systems, and update skills to adapt to changing technology •Ability to evaluate complex systems to define areas for improvement •Familiarity with working in an IT department with partial outsourcing, a plus but not required •Superior written and verbal communication skills with capability to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience
