Systems Administrator III (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)Full Time Montgomery, ALTS/SCI Eligible**This position is contingent upon contract award**Overview:The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer. The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set. Experience Required:
  • 7+ years' of experience with: installs, tests, tunes, maintains, hardens, upgrades, patches, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, and monitoring tools for physical and virtual Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) serves on both classified and unclassified networks
  • Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations
  • Analyzes system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems, and develops/recommends specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems
  • Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of all REHL and related servers (e.g. Satellite, Syslog, etc)
  • Perform annual DISA STIGs compliance checks on all RHEL servers and related installed software
  • Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
  • Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair
Education Required:
  • High School diploma or GED
Clearance Required:
  • TS/SCI Eligible
Certifications Required:
  • IAT - II
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
Preferred Certifications :
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer
