Working under the direction from the Vice President of Information Technology & Security, The Systems Administrator / Information Systems Security Manager is responsible for support of the server, network, and cybersecurity infrastructure while maintaining National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800.171 and CMMC compliance with optimal performance. The person will consistently be called upon to use their system expertise and judgment to administer systems. The person must be able to use their judgment and discretion to find creative solutions to systems issues. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion without compromising system integrity. This position requires that the candidate be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance. Job Requirements:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of networks, server operating systems, cybersecurity, and database systems.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Extensive support experience in a Microsoft, and Meraki environment.
  • Working technical knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, accounting software (Deltek CostPoint); Database software (Microsoft SQL); Development software; Human Resource systems; Payroll systems; Project Management software (Microsoft Project/Project Server); Microsoft Office products; Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of export controls and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks independently with limited supervision and perform all duties of the job efficiently.
  • May be called up on to work outside normal hours.
  • Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required.
