- Server Administration:
- Build, configure, and maintain VMware virtual servers.
- Perform routine system maintenance, including patching and updates.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Storage Management:
- Manage and optimize storage systems, including SAN and NAS.
- Implement data backup and recovery strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Infrastructure Support:
- Provide technical support for a wide range of IT infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades or migrations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in systems administration.
- In-depth knowledge of VMware virtualization.
- Strong experience with Windows OS compatible technology including SCCM, AD, Intune, and Exchange)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Experience with technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Intune).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
