Job DetailsLevel Experienced Job Location Fort Eustis VA - Newport News, VA Position Type Full Time Education Level Bachelor's Degree Travel Percentage Occasionally Job Shift Day Job Category Professional Services DescriptionJob Summary The Army Training Support Center (ATSC) is located at Fort Eustis, Virginia and responsible for managing the Army Training Support Enterprise (TSE) providing oversight for many programs that enable the development, delivery, and sustainment of Training and Education (T&E) support capabilities worldwide. BMA is looking for candidates to provide Automation Technical Support (ATS) for mission related network components, computers, Software (SW), Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment, projectors, wiring, network equipment/SW, switches, Configuration Management (CM), servers, virtual environments and infrastructure, applications, and associated communications equipment. Clearance Requirements There is a Secret Security clearance requirement for this position. Responsibilities
- Support Trouble Calls by responding within 30 minutes when the network, mission production application, or server nodes/equipment is inoperable and within 1 hour for other problems.
- Implement system modifications, which includes add-ons, changes, deletions and/or reconfiguration.
- Perform account management for the mission systems to include establishing and maintaining user accounts.
- Perform analysis, design, and troubleshooting of automated information systems including Microsoft® Windows environment.
- Update laptop/desktops to latest versions (i.e., Windows 10 version 1909)
- Perform ad-hoc, incremental, daily, weekly and as requested system backups and restoration of system interfaces and operation systems on each mission file server.
- Provide restoration of systems interfaces, applications, databases, files, and operating systems.
- Provide baseline system maintenance, which entails wiring, cables, connectors, monitoring devices, servers, hosts, and all other components related to the system based on receiving system PRs and trouble calls.
- Troubleshoot existing or potential problems related to baseline systems, identifying particular hardware or software device issues.
- Revise and maintain current systems documentation, standard operating procedures, and continuity books.
- Provide support for new mission servers, hardware and software programs as they are introduced into ATSC overall mission requirements.
- Provide support for legacy Army Training Information Architecture (ATIA), Learning Management Systems, and ATIS instances, and new software/hardware supported by ATSC.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Bachelors' degree
- Secret Security Clearance
- Minimum of 4 years' experience executing IT service and infrastructure support with experience providing Windows Server and Print Server support.
- Certifications: Security+, MD100, and MD101
