The ES Tech segment typically writes specialty business often referred to as “non-admitted” insurance utilizing a wholesale-broker. Excess and surplus lines of commercial insurance specialize in underwriting difficult-to-place moderate to high-risk commercial businesses looking for creative solutions to new and unusual complex risks. Lines of business include Commercial Casualty, Professional Liability, and Commercial Property.

Responsibilities
The Systems Administrator is responsible for application support, monitoring, and deployment within a primarily Windows based environment. Regular job responsibilities will involve supporting a variety of technologies, customer and team driven projects, handling trouble tickets on a priority basis, participation in tasks related to helpdesk and desktop support service orders required to meet customer needs. Some travel may be required. A comprehensive performance management plan will involve the identification, discussion and implementation of personal and business-related objectives and goals aimed at career and team development.

Qualifications
- Microsoft Windows Server technology for a minimum of four years
- Web Server technologies for a minimum of two years
- Azure/AWS for a minimum of one year
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components)
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent working experience
- Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL Server
- Linux
- Kubernetes
- Splunk, SolarWinds/Orion, Scripting languages for systems management and monitoring
