Job Description:
MGM Healthcare provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living centers in Iowa, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Our centers provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation services - using the latest equipment and techniques - that run the gamut from physical andoccupational therapy to special memory units and respite care. Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Systems Administrator supports all MGM-affiliated facilities.The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role ensures the stability and integrity of system services across the organization by managing a variety of systems, including but not limited to server infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based solutions. The Systems Administrator will work closely with internal teams to support technology needs, including planning and executing projects, implementing security measures, and providing daily support for both routine operations and critical systems.Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system management tools.Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.Troubleshoot system and network issues, ensuring uptime and performance standards are met.Monitor and test application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement solutions.Provide support for system-related issues and ensure timely resolution.Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.Assist in project planning and execution related to system updates, migrations, or implementations.Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.Ensure systems are in compliance with security standards and policies.Document system configurations, updates, and operational procedures. Qualifications of Systems Administrator:Education and Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Licensing/Registration/Certification: Valid driver's license is required.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in end-user support, wide area network (WAN) support, and server system administration.Familiarity with Microsoft Server environments and various cloud-based systems. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateCompTIA Network+CompTIA Security+Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AssociateCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Key Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
