Job Description
Are you an experienced System Administrator with demonstrated experience in Military Treatment Facility (MTF) System and Network Administration? If so, we would like to speak with you!
As a System Administrator, you will:

A week in the life of a System Administrator:
+ Support MTF with Video Teleconferencing program
+ Manage functional application of an automated call distribution system
+ Support DHA Global Service Center with installing, maintaining, and securing clinical workstations with the Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC)
+ Install and configure PC-based medical application client software
+ Perform basic PC hardware troubleshooting
+ Support Refresh of PC Hardware by deploying new computer equipment to MTF staff
+ Provide support in installation of clinical end user devices, servers, network devices, and peripheral devices
+ Perform physical installation and initial configuration of MTF routers and switches and IT Shared Services Hosting Environment equipment
+ Assist regional Tier III teams with installing medical applications and servers
+ Assist regional Tier III teams with troubleshooting and resolving problems with MTF Infrastructure, IT Shared Services, and medical applications/servers
+ Provide support in maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery program
+ Perform the following Information System Security functions for the MTF network, IT Shared Services, and MTF-hosted medical applications/servers:
+ Assist Tier III teams in applying software updates, security patches, and DISA STIGs
+ Assist Tier III teams with mitigating vulnerabilities
+ Provide on-call support for MTF
Job Requirements
+ Associates degree in IT related field
+ One year of demonstrated experience as a System Administrator
+ Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
+ COMPTIA Security
+ + Three years of experience with WAN/LANs to include routers, switches, VPNs
+ Two years of experience with server/application virtualization
+ Two years of experience using VMware vSphere
+ Two years of experience with administering Windows Server 2012 or above
+ Two years of blade server hardware and software experience
+ Two years of experience administering Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7 or above)
+ Understanding of Remote Access and Control software
+ Demonstrated ability to interface with executive staff
+ Windows Server Certification

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
