We are hiring for a Systems Analyst, in Bloomington, MN or Marshall, MN. In this role you will be responsible for position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships within our logistics, transportation and warehouse management business. You will identify opportunities to improve business performance through the application of technology, information and/or process improvements; and lead projects while creating plans and documenting requirements to achieve strategic goals. This position also leads and assists with the ongoing technology planning for assigned business areas. This is an opportunity to use your experience with logistics, transportation and warehouse management systems like Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to make a big impact on the business Responsibilities Serves as a liaison between the business unit and IT in support of the relationship management function. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and performs in a consultative role. Supports the innovation process and the introduction of new solutions through researching competitors, vendors, industry solutions, emerging technologies, and managing RFI/RFP processes. Participates in escalation situations for projects and support issues. Collaborates with leaders to understand the strategy and defines solution requirements in terms of business capabilities and broad outcomes. Creates business process models of current and proposed systems. Defines requirements, builds logical models and provides quality documentation of user requirements. In partnership with business leaders and other areas of IT, identifies and recommends innovative solutions to enable the business strategy. Is a key participant in the business IT Innovation agenda. Supports the Business Capabilities heatmap and Product Roadmap development. Participates in annual budget cycle. Ensures solutions meet the stated objectives through facilitation of user acceptance testing. Maintains quality of assigned systems and programs and provides support as needed. Provides estimates to develop project plans; monitors and directs project plans, when assigned; identifies and resolves issues; and communicates status of assigned projects. Involved in change management activities. Configures or develops, tests, implements and supports software solutions. Supports and maintains existing software by troubleshooting processes, identifies and resolves problems on a 24-hour emergency need basis. Provides customer service to end-users (customers) to ensure systems continually meet or exceed the users or customers expectations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 2 years of experience as a systems analyst Business experience with logistics, warehouse management, transportation preferred Hands-on SAP experience preferred Experience with transportation management system (TMS) (preferred E2Open BluJay), yard management, and warehouse management system (WMS) preferred Skilled in Unit testing, systems integration testing, UAT, test case development, test execution Functional spec writing, business process modeling Knowledge of business and strategic planning process and principles, theories, and concepts Basic knowledge of systems development principles, theories and concepts Basic project management skills Teamwork focus; Strong organizational skills; Able to manage multiple initiatives concurrently The employing subsidiaries of Schwans Company are Equal Employment Opportunity Employers.
