- Interacts extensively with internal and external users
- Analyzes existing applications/systems and business process models
- Designs, develops, and administers applications and business processes
- Maps and documents interfaces between legacy and new systems
- Understands software development lifecycle and recommends and implements programs accordingly
- Translates users requirements into highly specific project briefs
- Identifies options for potential solutions and assesses them for both technical and business suitability
- Conducts requirement analysis and prepares specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
- Develops and monitors project timelines
- Presents proposals to users
- Works closely with users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Ensures, protects, and limits risks associated with implementations
- Prepares and maintains systems / software documentation
- Provides application and end user support reports
- Reviews, recommends, documents, and tracks IT related organizational metrics, benchmarks, service-level agreements (SLAs), policies, and procedures
- Works collaboratively with trainers and users to elaborate user material and training material throughout the entire process
- Performs other duties as assigned and/or required
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, math, engineering, business or related discipline; supplemented by five (5) or more years of progressively responsible computer software support services experience, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), object-oriented programming, application system and program analysis, and design experience.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Tier 2 Moderate Public Trust clearance.
Masters degree preferred.
