The School District of Springfield Township is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic students, and the ability to relate well within the school community.   • BS or BA degree in related technical field or minimum of five years relevant experience.
  • Technology industry certification preferred such as Google Certifications, Microsoft, A+, Net+, etc.
  • Experience with PowerSchool SIS is desirable.
  • Experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory and management of VOIP systems.
  • Google Workspace administration including Chrome OS policy management, 3rd party app integration, extension deployment & configuration.
  • Knowledge and experience in batch and powershell scripting in a system administration environment.
  • Understanding of database management concepts, including SQL.
  • Ability to automate tasks, package applications, and deploy scripts to meet deployment and security needs.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills in support of data integration and manipulation.
  • Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network topologies and protocols.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to investigate and innovate to find solutions to fix and optimize systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain integrity and reliability of systems and services through the adherence to protocols and standards.
  • Maintain and support critical systems such as VoIP telephone, student information, and finance systems.
  • Monitor and manage client software patches and client operating system updates.
  • Manage Active Directory, Google Workspace, and other proprietary user and service accounts.
  • Assess and resolve user access problems.
  • Automate tasks such as the creation and modification of user accounts, provisioning software applications, and updating system configurations through the use of scripts and software solutions.
  • Support data integration and interoperability efforts of new and existing applications and services between multiple hardware and software solutions.
  • Maintain group policies (Windows) and configuration profiles (macOS/iOS) per best practices from app vendors, CIS security baselines and others to support the District's needs in consultation with the network administrator.
  • Assists and serves as backup to the Network Analyst in the setup and maintenance of servers and network infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, and other systems & network hardware components.
  • Develops detailed and comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
