Position Summary:
They Systems and Projects Manager will manage, operate, and oversee building systems and special projects. Assist all departments with respect to the operations of these systems. Act as an Information Technology manager and work closely with administrative staff and the external IT service provider. Provide oversight and direction to other special projects including contracts, insurance, training, scheduling, and safety systems.
This role will pay a salary of $48,000-$58,000.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all technical services, including information technology, telecommunications, and audio and visual communications
- Manage operating and capital budget of relevant IT-related systems
- Interview, select, and train part time employees
- Assist with game/event presentation elements including audio and video systems, house and egress lights, clock and scoring system, and others as needed
- Oversee and maintain fire panel and all related functions such as training, maintenance, assessment, and overall operation
- Oversee inventory, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the CCTV system and Control Access System
- Manage maintenance of facility sound, lighting, video scoreboard, cameras, closed circuit and cable TV, outdoor marquee, IT/Wifi, phone and other audio/visual systems
- Provide clients with all audio, video, internet, lighting and telecommunications requirements
- Manage PT scheduling software, system, and mass communication
- Coordinate and schedule building systems and safety trainings and exercises
- Responsible for montioring advancements and training for equipment, operations, and staff
- Collaborate with DOO and Operations Managers to evaluate and appraise PT employees
- Liaison with providers of phone, internet, business machine, ticketing, communication, clock and scoring, spotlights and audio/visual services, schedule and track equipment and system maintenance.
- Support DOO with inventory of audio/visual, phone, business machines, IT, clock and scoring system and other related equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and light maintenance on AV equipment, spotlights, phone system, indoor and outdoor videoboards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and cabling/patching for IT and phone services.
- Basic desktop IT support (not limited to, user creation, user management, file management, basic networking and software updates)
- Perform routine computer maintenance on all user workstations
- Liaison with external IT service provider
- Manage relationships with vendors including regular communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
- Assist GM with creation and management of select event contracts
- Must be able to work a fluctuating work schedule that will vary depending on events schedule (including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in information technology, occupational safety, or related field preferred or relevant work experience in lieu.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT/AV technical support in a public assembly venue
- Demonstrated knowledge of Audio, Video and Information Technology Systems
- Experience with Simplex fire panels or demonstrated knowledge or aptitude
- Understanding of arena/event sound systems and video production
- Familiarity with terminology used in Event Center and Sports settings with regards to IT and AV
- Knowledge of customer service practices
- Experience with OES clock/scoreboard/video display packages & Daktronics clock & scoring system preferred
- Experience with Daktronics Video board Systems and Daktronics Show Control preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, CCTV, lighting preferred
- Ability to remain calm, solve problems in fast-paced, stressful environment
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and lift 40 lbs. unaided
