This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the implementation of strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the system.Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to healthcare facilities within the system.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality patient care.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight:Oversee the daily operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.Monitor and evaluate the performance of healthcare facilities, identifying areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.Financial Management:Develop and manage the system's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.Quality and Patient Safety:Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Ensure patient safety protocols are followed and address any issues promptly.Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop and implement best practices in patient care.Strategic Planning:Participate in the development and implementation of the healthcare system's strategic plan.Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion of services.Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep the system competitive.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, staff, and community partners.Represent the healthcare system in community and industry events.Communicate effectively with the board of directors, executive team, and other stakeholders.Qualifications:Education:Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., FACHE) are preferred.Experience:Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration.Proven track record of managing multiple healthcare facilities or a large healthcare system.Skills:Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and implement long-term plans.Financial acumen and experience with budget management.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
