Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add a 100% remote Systems Engineer. Please see below for full details- Job Notes: -6+ month contract / extendable and perm possible with good performance. -ASAP start date -100% remote -Drug & Background required. -Pay rate = $37-41 w2 per hour depending on experience. -Note: Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch, and co-management experience required. Position Overview: As a Systems Engineer you will perform a complex range of technical work activities either remotely or at customer site to meet business and customer requirements. Strong experience on Mobile Device Management (Intune & JAMF), preferably over 5 years' experience would be expected. They should be proficient in working with MS Intune, Azure, JAMF and Apple Business Manager. The ability to provide specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues to ensure consistent approach. An ideal candidate will be required to have an expertise in JSS at an infrastructure and architectural level. Excellent communication skills, both face to face and on the telephone, while having the ability to assess and prioritize tasks without close supervision is essential. Duties/Responsibilities: • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values. • Manage and deliver root cause assessments for complex technical issues. • Define workarounds for known errors and spear head improvements. • Partner with product management and development teams to bolster the end user experience. • User-focused, analytical, and compelled to solve problem. • Deliver automated solutions to large enterprise environment. • Offering solutions and workarounds to incidents/problems • Working to SLAs and deadlines • Review of services and application delivery • Prioritizing and managing several tasks at a single time • Establishing a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike • Keep up to date with advancements in technology. • Work with a variety of customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements. • Providing On-Call Out of Hours Support • Document writing / process creation • Agile Platform knowledge and understanding Reporting: This position will report to the Service Manager. Supervisory Duties: None Education & Experience Required: • Legally eligible to work in the United States. • Bachelor's degree preferred. Skills & Competencies: The Candidate should have experience in the following: o Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms o Active Directory experience: ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domains, Forrest, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP/ADSI, Kerberos and Schemas o PKI and Certificate Management o Microsoft 0365 o Scripting (PowerShell) o Broad understanding of IT infrastructure design, improvement and support. o Organizational and analytical skills, and ability to navigate complex issues, and achieve strategic goals. o Strong business acumen & successful track record in aligning IT capabilities to business objectives. o Self-motivated, flexible and highly resourceful. o Strong verbal & written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in addressing all levels of the organization. o Ability to prioritize and meet multiple aggressive project deadlines. o SCOM & SCCM o Exposure to Citrix technologies o Understanding of encryption - Hard disk / removable media o Cloud Computing - Azure AD Connect, AD Sync, Intune, Autopilot o SCCM/Intune Co-management o MS Autopatch Why Choose Merge IT?
