Systems Engineer I
Location: Anne Arundel County, Maryland
Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with FS Poly
As a Systems Engineer I, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
Who You Are and What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management. Five (5) years of systems engineering experience on projects with similar software may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity required
- Previous work experience using NIFI
What You Will Do:
- Support for dataflow encompasses several critical tasks, including monitoring systems data received from the collection segment (CS), scripting, and other activities aimed at optimizing data flows to and from this segment.
- Review collected data for accuracy and proper formatting. Additionally, it is essential to proactively review historical dataflow statistics to troubleshoot any anomalies, which supports maintaining efficient operations.
- Direct interaction with Corporate dataflow teams is necessary to uphold backend processing operations and meet corporate requirements.
- Provide data flow support to Capabilities teams is also crucial, particularly in their efforts to deploy, upgrade, and decommission operational systems.
- Support HCSO operations in their ongoing efforts to deliver DNI and DNR from tasked systems in the field to analysts and other stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
- Analyze dataflow-related reports and statistics is vital for maintaining an updated status on the health of HCSO operational mission systems' collection capabilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all HCSO operational mission systems to effectively support backend processing and ensure proper storage.
