TSG Platform Engineering is focused on solutions across compute, storage, and backup and recovery infrastructure.Role DescriptionThe Virtualization Engineering team comprises all engineering of standards, integration and certification of products related to compute infrastructure underpinning virtualization technologies as well as the technologies themselves.This infrastructure layer includes the hardware engineering aspects related to Dell/HP rack mount servers as well as the UCS kit and its management layers.The virtualization layer includes Hyper-V and the VMWare vSphere suite of mgmt. tools and hypervisor.We are not involved in deployment of the technologies, or support of the technologies.Defines the virtualization based standards as it relates to existing product portfolios including vSphere, vROPs, vCenter Maintains our security posture as it relates to the hypervisor and infrastructure layers which support the same Acts to evolve our hardware patterns for converged and hyper-converged footprints.This cyber focused position will focus on- Certificate Management- vSphere ADFS- 2FA- BNYM Thanes key management integrationPosition LocationCandidate will be required to be in the US Time zone to match with team schedules and near an office to be able to attend in person once a week with the larger team.Key Position Responsibilities- Architect and design virtualization technologies focused on UCS/Dell/vSphere- Develop automation to support integration with various systems- Assist with support and administration of existing tools- Responding to incidents in a production environment providing level 3 support- Maintain departmental documentationQualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- 10 years' experience as a vSphere engineer- Experience using product API to automate and integrate functions- Skilled in scripting languages (Python, powercli..)- Hands-on experience implementation and support of virtualized solutions focus in VMWare product suite- Strong analytics skills and data management experience- Excellent communication skillsPreferred Qualifications- Prior financial services or other highly regulated industry experience Will this have the ability to be temp to perm?
