We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Systems Engineer to join our client's team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's cloud-based and on-premises systems and infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with other engineers, developers, and operations personnel to ensure the smooth running and high availability of our systems. Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain on-premises and/or cloud-based IT systems and infrastructure
- Perform system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency
- Monitor system performance and identify potential problems
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Provide technical support to internal users
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on cloud-based and on-premises systems and infrastructure
- Experience with Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Workspace (AWS), and VMWare vSphere or other cloud providers. Linux & Windows
- Experience with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Proficient with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie, BitBucket)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 Per Year
