About the role: As a Systems Engineer at KabaFusion, you will be part of a team that keeps the company running. You will be part of a team that manages the day-to-day operations of our computer systems. This will include monitoring system performance, equipment and network configuration, and maintenance and repair to ensure there is as little downtime as possible. You will also have a hand in the design and implementation of new firmware, software, and hardware; ensuring that the company is staying current with technology and has operational reliability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
- Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.
- Develops procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.
- Manages the data center and computer host systems including hardware, software, and equipment.
As a Systems Engineer, you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline. Associate degree in a related field can be substituted with minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience required with end-user hardware, software, and application support.
- Modern Management Certifications (VMWare/Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, and/or MCSE)
- Three (3) years of experience working with Azure AD
- Three (3) years of experience in complex systems design, programming and systems software and support.
