Our client has immediate career opportunities in Systems Engineering. In this role you will serve as part of a talented team of engineers who collectively demonstrate excellent technical competency, reliability in delivering mission critical infrastructure, and who continually ensure the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security.Qualified Systems Engineers applicants will have a strong background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.There several openings spanning from a conventional SE, Enterprise Architecture SE, and even a SE Manager role. More specific information can be given for those who are interested.Basic SE responsibilities:- Ability to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure- Oversight of infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools- Ability to see potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure accessibility- Monitor and test performance of applications, foreseeing potential bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions- Ability to work with developers to implement those fixes- Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategiesBasic qualifications (does not apply to all openings, but you should have some of these):- 4 year degree (IT, Computer Science, Engineering) 8 or more years of experience may be substituted for certain positions- Secret clearance or higher- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Windows XP/7, Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline, Microsoft Outlook 2010/2016, Microsoft Office Suite 2010/2016, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010/2016, and Microsoft Server 2008R2/2016- Active Directory, DNS, and IP configuration- Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network devices, virtual machine hosts, and virtual machine guest deployment (installation, configuration, etc.)- Network and system security principles and techniquesCertifications Desired:- Security+- CISSP- ITIL v3- MCP or MCSE- CCNA or CCNP15 days PTO + 10 paid holidays, 401k w/ match, comprehensive medical/dental/vision
