Job Title: Sr. Systems Engineer – 2 openingsLocation: Washington, DC – HYBRID ONSITERole Type: 12 months + Contract to HireW2 ONLY / C2C not available for this rolePURPOSE:Ensures the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the organization information systems that support organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, supporting and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Assesses architecture and current system limitations, defines and designs system specifications, disaster recovery procedures and evaluates input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.2 OPENINGS –1st role – The focus will be more on monitoring – this resource should have experience with Dynatrace for monitoring – 50% of work will be with Dynatrace.2nd role - will not be responsible for monitoring. This resource will be leading daily stand-up calls and should have good experience with Jira and Kanban. This resource must understand technical stories. Leading the standups will be approximately 25% of their workload.EXPERIENCE (BOTH ROLES)Must have minimum of 5-8 years+ of experience in Systems EngineeringMust have background in configuring and maintaining networking components such as IP addresses, DNS, public/private IP, and firewall rules.Must have experience in managing and maintaining Linux servers, applying patches, and ensuring uptime for critical systems.Must understand infrastructure architecture and how it supports the application environmentMust have previous experience understanding and troubleshooting API technologies such as REST and SOAP to ensure smooth system operations.Should have previous experience in SFTP technologyShould have previous experience collaborating with MQ teams, ensuring efficient messaging flow and working knowledge of MQ technology.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance system architecture and ensure consistent delivery of technology solutions.PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVEHealthcare Industry experienceExperience with Jenkins is a plus – they work closely with it to start/stop applications and ensure smooth deploymentCloud experience – AWS or AzureEDUCATIONEducation Level: Bachelor's Degree is requiredEducation Details: Information Technology or Computer Science#M2
