Visit for more details.ResponsibilitiesArcfield is seeking a Mid to Senior level Systems Engineer with Nuclear Weapons and Surety expertise to support our US Navy customer, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in Washington, DC.In this position you will support the nation's most reliable deterrent, while assisting the engineering team in the areas of surety, production and design development.This position works daily from the Arcfield at the Maritime Plaza Office in Washington DC (across the street from the Washington Navy Yard). It is within sight of the Nation's Capital and has access to public transportation. 20% travel can be expected.What you will do:Support Arcfield's weapon systems program teams in providing support to Navy, Strategic Systems Programs (SP28) in weapons development.Collaborate with Navy SSP, NNSA, and external stakeholders in support of surety, weapon system development, operations, and sustainment; to include support of working groups. This includes c oordination of meetings and agendas development, generating meeting summaries, and develop and track action items.Assist with developing presentations and technical papers, analyze schedules in support of program performance/execution.Serve as independent evaluator on surety, design development, integration, qualification, and production reviews. Analyze and trace requirements; and assess design and production efforts.Perform general duties as assigned to support Arcfield Maritime Plaza office operations.QualificationsYou would be a great fit if:You have Nuclear Weapons and Surety experiance.Min experience 10-12 years with BS. 8-10 years with MS.Possess and maintain an active Top-Secret clearance.You are proficient in Microsoft Office.You possess excellent organization, writing and communication skills.You are experienced in managing deliverables and documentation.You are experienced in maintaining professional relationships with team members.It would be even better if you:Have DOE Q security clearanceEqual Pay ActThis is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
