Qualified candidates may apply to this posting.We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer with expertise in Windows environments for a contract engagement. In this role, you will primarily work on technical projects involving the design, implementation, and management of Windows-based systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling complex tasks, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Manage Windows-based systems and networks to support business operations.Lead and contribute to projects involving system migrations, upgrades, and new installations in a Windows environment.Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows servers, workstations, and related infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing environments.Maintain and optimize system performance, including monitoring, patching, and security updates.Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all systems under your care.Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and manuals.Support disaster recovery planning and ensure that systems are regularly backed up and can be restored when needed.Provide ongoing support for project-related technologies and assist in post-project assessments.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Windows environments.Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments is a plus.Experience with storage solutions, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Equal Employment OpportunityWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees' differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status.
