Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure and Operations department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin

What's the Job?

• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises infrastructure including servers, storage, and network.
• Diagnose and resolve physical hardware, software, and network system problems.
• Conduct scheduled system checkups and prepare reports for system health.
• Provide consultation to business partners regarding future system integrations.
• Ensure disaster recovery solutions are operational and meet business needs.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT Infrastructure delivery and/or support role.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure delivery and support.
• Proven experience with system security and enterprise data protection across integrated systems.
• Experience with enterprise networking, including Layer 2 and 3 network switches, TCP/IP, and VLAN management.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
