AVIAN is hiring a Systems Engineer to provide technical support to PMA 209 Team in Lexington Park, MD. The Systems Engineer primary responsibilities will include focusing on system engineering to include requirements and system interface requirements, analysis of system models, review of DODAF documentation, review of UMCS architecture implementation, and development of software/system design guidance.

Responsibilities:The System Engineer will support the government's team with the development and implementation of specifications and standards to guide the development and integration of system software/hardware and support review/refinement of system interface designs with a focus on communications, network, and avionics systems.

Required Education/Experience by Level:
JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree (Systems Aerospace and Test Aerospace Engineering labor categories REQUIRE an engineering degree, and years of experience cannot be substituted for a Bachelors Degree). A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently. SENIOR: A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree (Bachelors Degree plus 4 years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Masters). A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
