No - 100% On-SiteAs the Systems Engineer, you will support the SIGINT IPT for the Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program (PMA-262) based at NAS Patuxent River, MD. In this role, you will provide technical support in developing and testing Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) sensors, review and generate technical documentation, and research, develop, and propose technical solutions for problems and deficiencies within the SIGINT system. This is a 100% on-site position; telework is not allowable due to the nature of the work.As the Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Assist in the execution and management of systems engineering processes in PMA-262 Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) team
  • Assist in the execution of the Engineering/Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP) process to ensure that appropriate airworthiness artifacts are reviewed/approved to support the class desk in the issuance of a flight clearance
  • Participate in developing systems engineering artifacts required for a request for proposal and evaluating proposers' systems engineering artifacts in proposals
  • Perform technical management to include schedule assessment of vendor and supplier activities
  • Participate in regular interactions with other system engineers from the Prime contractor and government direct vendors
  • Assist in ensuring that the PMA-262 team and their direct vendors execute systems engineering processes to the same level of integrity as required of the prime vendor
  • Assist the SIGINT IPT with technical reviews, requirements verification, CDRLs, and other data, and make a determination of the applicability of technical comments provided by SMEs during document reviews
  • Assist the SIGINT IPT in the collection, organization, distribution, and interpretation of technical data relating to system test and evaluation including both Government and Vendor SMEs
  • Assist with the coordination of SETR events, including tailoring and scoring of SETR checklists, development of agenda and event coordination, and development of related briefing materials
  • Position may require flexibility in working hours

  • You have a bachelor's degree and at least 5-7 years of related systems engineering/engineering support experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
  • You are knowledgeable in Systems Engineering Processes and Concepts and have the ability to support communication
  • Prior experience supporting NAVAIR Programs is a plus
  • Class desk experience highly desired

Salary Range:
  • The estimated salary range for this position will be $125,000 - $150,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
