Systems Integration Engineer Systems Integration Engineer, Senior Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Dayton, Ohio HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Dayton, Ohio at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to support the Mobility Aircraft Office within the Mobility directorate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform systems engineering to include expertise in systems design and integration; manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering; airworthiness; and configuration and data management. Execute AFPD 62-6, USAF Airworthiness, through standardized processes, and issuance of flight authorizations. Assist in reviewing, developing, and updating applicable program documentation for systems engineering relevant requirements/issues. Education and Experience: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience; Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited program and twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Must have five (5) years of Government Acquisition experience. Must have knowledge of systems engineering in support of system definition, development, integration, verification methods, sustainment, risk modeling/simulation, testing and evaluation, human system integration (HSI), crew stations engineering, OSS&E efforts, interoperability requirements, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems, including ground-based systems. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be able to travel, including air travel.
