Shift: 1st Shift – 6:15am – 2:30pm Job Roles & Duties:
Rackers:
Unpack shipped components that need to be assembled; Heavy racking equipment ranging from 2-60 lbs. (anything over 35 lbs. requires a team lift) and the components that are built to the racks.
Assemble the components and racking equipment to build racks that range from 4-9 feet in height. Contractors should be comfortable working on a ladder at positions of up to 9 feet off the ground.
Using electric and air powered tools to assemble racks and attach components to the finished shell.
Cablers:
Install and connect cables to installed components and equipment in each rack. Connecting several racks together via cables on a cable tray that is 9 feet above manufacturing floor.
Contractors should be comfortable working on a ladder at positions of up to 9 feet off the ground. #P1#Grace#Elgin
