Job Description:

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Integrator. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary: SEACORPs Training Systems Business Area is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer will perform as a lead systems analyst, a network engineer, asoftware engineer and a COTs hardware integrator. The Systems Engineerwill perform senior design activities to meet requirements and oversee thecreation of software and hardware products from initial specifications to finalrollout and maintenance. These products are sophisticated and consist of Linuxand Windows operating systems, Network operating systems and VLANs, virtualmachines, containers, and Kubernetes management. They will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the training system to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness for naval personnel Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform Systems Engineering tasks across multiple systems' life cycles including requirements decomposition/traceability, interface design, systems integration, risk management, technical reviews, prototyping, and test/fielding support.
  • Managingthe development cycle associated with producing secure and resilient hardwareand software applications, including specification, design, coding, testing andmaintenance.
  • Responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
  • Develop system architecture and design specifications to integrate AN/BYG-1 software and hardware components seamlessly into the shipboard training and readiness systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, implement, and integrate a state-of-the-art training systems for the Navy.
  • Analyze and understand Navy training requirements to ensure the system meets operational needs effectively.
  • Develop technical approaches to achieve desired capabilities and ensure realistic training scenarios.
  • Conduct assessments measuring technical progress and effectiveness of plans in meeting requirements.
  • Leverage use of Commercial-off-the-Shelf/Government-off-the-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items to support development efforts.
  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives to assess alternative options for design decisions.
  • Design mechanisms to ensure a cybersecurity resilient system.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system deployment, test, and training exercises for multiple platforms at various labs, sites, and shipboard locations.
  • Stay current with advancements in technology, Navy training methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the training system.
  • Lead or attend Technical Interchange Meetings, Integrated Product Teams, and Working Groups.
  • Ability to develop requirements and design packages to modernize hardware and software architecture moving forward to a DevSecOps architecture.
  • Ability to gain a full understanding of system operation to develop automated testing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly.
Qualifications:Education:Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience:10 years of relevant experience. Ideal Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, Top Secret a Plus.
  • Understanding of Submarine Ship systems and operations
