Overview- This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude that will interface with a multitude of different work trades and supervisors to accomplish daily tasks. Daily tasks require timely completions, maintaining work quality and a high level of safety standards.
- Perform non-destructive testing on ships structure and pipe.
- This is a 2nd shift position.
- Training for this position will be conducted on 1st shift.
Responsibilities- High school diploma/GED required
- Any combination of two years of college preparatory mathematics (Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, or Trigonometry).
- NDT Level II qualifications required,
- Any two of the following preferred;
- Magnetic Particle (MT)
- Liquid Penetrant (PT)
- Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UT)
- Radiography (RT)
- Visual (VT)
Qualifications- Qualifications must be provided prior to hire and meet requirements of SNT-TC-1A.
- Must be able to certify upon two weeks of hire.
- Able to operate mobile equipment i.e. scissor lift, condo lifts.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to meet the physical tasks requirements, will be reviewed at time of interview.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
