Position: Systems Operations Analyst Work location: Malvern, PA - Onsite 3 days a week Contract Duration: 6-24 months The Systems Operations Analysts will be responsible for monitoring development and production systems to verify that all systems are up and fully functional. If an incident occurs, the systems operation analysts are responsible for following a set of predefined procedures to quickly resolve the incident. The ideal candidate brings a blend of business and technical acumen. An understanding of the portfolio management/trading life cycle is ideal, as is an understanding of and ability to troubleshoot technical and business issues. Day to day:
- Provides intermediate support of applications and databases for software. Coordinates and executes technical procedures to resolve production issues after evaluation.
- Monitors production systems for alerts, outages, and system issues.
*Research issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize risk. Implements solutions for issues and appropriate development initiatives. *Ensures that support requests are resolved within the service level agreements. Communicates statuses and resolutions.
- Writes and updates production support documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations. Assists in implementing changes.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business partners.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Must haves:
- Minimum of three years related work experience, with at least one year of Information Technology experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- A degree in Computer Science or Management Information systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of the AWS development and operating requirements, as well as AWS developer or architect certifications, are preferred
